What Size Should I Order?

FOR GENERAL SIZING INFORMATION: Our Size Charts and Tall Men's Style Guides and Short Men's Size Guide are a great place to start. If you need a tape measure to take your measurements, you can find one here

FOR LENGTH:

As we like to say around here, EveryBODY is different =) So height alone doesn't always translate to a specific inseam (since some guys are all torso, others all legs). Your safest bet is to measure a pair of pants that fit well. Simply fold them in half lengthwise and measure from crotch seam to hem with a soft tape measure.

FOR WAIST SIZE:

For numbered waist sizes, if you are unsure of waist size, we recommend measuring at the natural waist with a soft tape measure. Whatever the actual number, that is the size you would order from us. You can also measure the actual waistband of your best fitting pants (TIP: do not simply go by the tag size on existing, store-bought pants).

SHIPPING DEADLINES for ON-TIME Gifts:  

Per best-available carrier deadlines and estimates, your gifts will arrive on time for 12/25 if you order by...

  • Friday, December 6 at Noon EST:  This is the deadline if you are selecting any of the following ship methods: Free Ground Shipping (within the Continental US), Ground Shipping ((within the Continental US)) or placing an order to an  International Address (ie. anywhere outside the Continental US or Canada) 
  • Thursday, December 12 at Noon EST: This is the deadline if you are selecting any of the following: Expedited Delivery (within the Continental US); US AirMail; Orders shipping to Canada
  • Friday, December 20 at Noon EST: This is the deadline if you are selecting Priority Holiday Shipping as your Service Level.

    Which to Choose? 

  • Within the Continental US & Not in a Hurry? Free and Ground Service as our standard service levels within the Continental US. We may use UPS, USPS, FedEx, or a combined service at our discretion. Please allow up to 10 business days to receive your order (can be longer with Holiday carrier delays).  Pick this level of service if you are within the continental US, and you are not in a hurry to receive the order.  For on-time Holiday Orders we recommend you place the order no later than December 11 at Noon. After that deadline, you are unlikely to receive your order if you choose a standard shipping service level. 
  • Within the Continental US & Need your order Fast?  We offer 2 options if you are more pressed for time. All expedited options receive priority fulfillment and will ship same day if placed by Noon EST (or next business day if received after Noon EST). Expedited Service is 2-6 day service, and Priority Holiday is 2-4 day service. These service times are best estimates based on carrier information  Both are offered only within the Continental US (AirMail is offered outside the continental US, with similar delivery times). We may use UPS, USPS, FedEx or a combined service at our discretion. For on-time Holiday Orders we recommend you place an order no later than December 12 at Noon for Expedited Service; December 18th for Priority Orders shipped to the Western US, and December 20th for all other orders. After these deadlines, you are unlikely to receive your order by 12/25, even using an expedited method.

    Terms and Conditions: 

    We do our best to estimate delivery dates based on information and guidelines from postal carriers. When we offer “guaranteed delivery”, we do so for dates as guaranteed by the carriers. The dates provided by carriers are their best estimate.  We can promise to ship your order out same-day for in-stock items if placed by Noon EST (priority and expedited service levels only), otherwise please allow one business day for in-stock merchandise.  Once  the merchandise is with the carrier, it is outside of our control.  We will not be responsible for shipping delays that are outside of our control, such as due to carrier delays, carrier errors or acts of God. In short, shipping refunds for late delivery will NOT be issued because UPS, FedEx, or USPS fails to deliver on the date promised. Carriers are also playing fast and loose with tracking - not all packages are scanned in on time or at all. Packages that aren't scanned in can get really late, but they are rarely lost altogether. If your order is not received within 40 days, it will be considered lost and we can assist you further. Before 40 days, please be patient as your package will likely still arrive.     Easy Extended Holiday Return Policy at FORtheFIT

    WHY SHOP EARLY? 

    We have worked hard to stock your favorites in time for the holiday season - most items are in stock now and new arrivals are expected by mid-November - but make no mistake - We will sell out of some of your tall and short men's sweatpants and loungewear favorites. It's just a fact.

    We also know that just like the past several years, freight carriers have been unable to keep up with demand for goods by mail, particularly during the Holiday season. Delays and losses have again become the standard. Regardless of which carrier we use or how we try to get ahead of things, mail WILL be slow due to insane demand across all industries. So, PREPARATION WILL BE KEY.  We know that many of you will be shopping earlier than ever this year to ensure you have your favorite gifts for your loved ones and avoid the dreaded "sold-out" sign. To accommodate our beloved customers (that's you- we LOVE you!), we've updated our already generous holiday return policy to meet these needs.

    Even in the best of times, gift giving is shrouded in uncertainty. What size to buy? will they like this color or that one? 'Tis the Season to make mistakes! But that's okay, since we offer easy returns with extended return deadlines

    EXTENDED HOLIDAY RETURN DEADLINES: 

    For all these reasons, at FORtheFIT we offer an extra generous returns policy for the Holiday period each year, extending our 30 day policy as follows:

    • Items Purchased October 1st - November 23rd are eligible for Exchange or Store Credit through January 6th, 2025 

    Refunds for orders placed between Oct 1st and November 23rd will ONLY be available within 30 days from purchase date, no exceptions.

    • Items Purchased on or after November 24th are eligible for Refund, Exchange or Store Credit through the later of 30 days or January 6th, 2024 

    Returns are EASY:

    STEP 1: visit our Returns page and click the link to submit a return.

    STEP 2: Type your Order Number, followed by either Last Name, Phone Number or Zip Code (exactly as provided when the order was placed) and click submit

    STEP 3: Follow the easy on screen instructions to choose between returns for refund, exchange or store credit (whichever your items or order are eligible for). You can even download a return postage label right from our site.

    Important Tips for an Easy & Hassle Free Return Experience: 

    • Please remember that refunds are issued for item cost only. Original ship fees are non-refundable.
    • Return postage is free if you elect store credit or exchange, but $12 will be deducted if you use our postage label for your return.
    • You are welcome to use your own postage, but please use a traceable ship method.   
    • Please don't remove tags...we know you're excited to receive your cool new pants from FORtheFIT, but please, please do not remove tags until you're sure you selected the right size and your items are keepers. We can only accept returns on items that are unworn, in new condition, no smells, no pet hair, and with all original tags still attached and intact as shipped to you. We cannot accept worn or laundered items for return.
    • Final Sale & Discontinued items have different return policies as described on the product page at the time of purchase. The return deadline extensions DO NOT APPLY to FINAL SALE nor DISCONTINUED items. Final Sale items may not be returned (no exceptions). Discontinued item are eligible to return for store credit only, minus a $5 restock fee per item, for 30 days only - no holiday extensions apply.
